Besorah Discipleship Learning Center

Besorah is Hebrew for ‘Good News’, also what we know as the Gospel.
This is the learning you didn’t know you needed.
Welcome to a place of study where Jew and Gentile will learn the scriptures together with mutual respect focusing on what is holy and beautiful rather than religious ideology.
If you are yearning for a “meatier” education, Besorah Learning Center is the right place for you! We take complicated topics and use them as a source of learning that will enable us to know and love God and the Messiah more fully.
We aim to bring together all people interested in learning a Judeo-Christian perspective, studying Rabbinical texts, modern writings, spiritual disciplines, and the Hebrew language.

mussar
Mussar with Diane is hands down one of the best discipleship groups I’ve been a part of.
I love how Diane helps us get to the heart of the matters we study, so it’s never just surface work; it’s discipleship and study that actually changes the way we live. The conversations are honest and transparent; two things I greatly value in discipleship. I can’t recommend this group enough!

ABOUT ME
As a Messianic Jew, I’m PASSIONATE ABOUT teaching PEOPLE the Jewishness of the Gospel (the Besorah), helping them rediscover the Jewish Jesus, and discovering a deeper and richer faith than ever before.
Jesus was a Jew, and his Jewishness permeated every part of his ministry, speech, and teaching. And yet it appears as though Judaism has little to do with Christian discipleship today.
We don’t see much of a focus on it in churches or in Bible studies. The Old Testament is often treated as a relic of the past, belonging to a people no longer relevant to the Christian faith.
Understanding Judaism and the way in which Judaism and Christianity became separate religions is essential for a rich and holistic Christian identity. What happened? Why did the parting of the ways take place?
These are questions all believers need to ask and we hope to begin to answer!

biblical studies
My time studying with Diane has been invaluable.
The depth of my understanding of how we approach Biblical history and its effect on shaping modern narrative has grown exponentially since I began studying under her in approximately 2020.
The best teachers inspire a desire to learn, and I have found myself on a personal journey of discovery that I never expected. I feel like I’m reading a whole new Bible!
I am grateful for Diane’s leadership, her patience, and my time spent “grabbing her hem” as I look at my faith through a new set of eyes.
